Swann respects Yousuf class

Graeme Swann believes the recalled Mohammed Yousuf could pose a real threat to England in the second Test at Edgbaston.

The Pakistan batting line-up was destroyed by James Anderson at Trent Bridge in the first Test, with the Lancastrian's pace and swing far too good for the Asian top six.
The tourists have responded by recalling 35-year-old right-hander Yousuf, who had called time on his career after receiving a ban from the PCB following last winter's disastrous tour to Australia.
The talented veteran will provide stability and much-needed class to an inexperienced line-up and Swann feels that his inclusion in the opposition ranks will pose new problems for the England attack.
"When a player of Yousuf's ability comes into their team you have to sit back and say 'how are we going to attack this player? Obviously he is a threat, he's a world class player," he said.

But the talented off-spinner has warned against complacency and feels Pakistan were unlucky to meet England in such good form.
"I think whoever we played at Trent Bridge would have had to play very well to counteract the swing bowling from James Anderson," he added. "I thought he was exceptional."
