England and India played out a draw on the final day of the second Test in Mohali, with the hosts taking the series 1-0.

After another lengthy delay at the start of the day because of fog, India resumed on 134-4 and Yuvraj Singh (86) and Gautam Gambhir (97) went on to claim half-centuries before MS Dhoni declared midway through the afternoon session, with the home side 251-7.
Having been set 403 runs to win, the England batsmen kept the Indian attack at bay, losing just one wicket - Alistair Cook (10) - before the captains shook hands and confirmed the draw.

The draw brings to an end a disappointing tour for Kevin Pietersen's squad, having lost five-one day internationals and the thrilling first Test in Chennai.
Up next for England is a tour of the Caribbean in the new year, with four Tests, a Twenty20 international and five One-Day Internationals against the West Indies. England selectors will announce the squad for that tour on December 29.
