Collingwood frustrated with rain

England captain Paul Collingwood refused to be downbeat despite the rain rescuing his side from a difficult position against Australia.

Collingwood's men were looking to continue the success of the Test side against the Aussies in the first of two Twenty20 clashes at Old Trafford.
And the bowlers did their work well, restricting the visitors to 145-4 in their 20 overs, despite Cameron White smashing 55 from 36 deliveries, including three sixes.
But England had slipped to 4-2 when the rain came down, with new boy Joe Denley falling to a first-ball duck and out-of-form Ravi Bopara making just one.

The hosts still had plenty of batting to come but were in a big hole when the Manchester weather ruined any chance of a result and Durham man Collingwood was frustrated that his side did not get the chance to finish the job.
"It's disappointing," he said. "We put in a good performance with the ball and were pretty good in the field.
"We restricted them to a total we thought we could get, it was obviously disappointing to lose the two wickets, but it would have been still gettable.
"You don't want to give Aussies a sniff in any form of the game."
